Ouelessebougou Alliance

Ouelessebougou Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities in Mali, West Africa, through sustainable health and education programs. Founded in 1986, the Alliance partners with 25 villages and over 23,500 villagers to deliver vital resources and opportunities for lasting positive change. Our work focuses on improving health outcomes, fostering literacy, and supporting girls’ education – all critical components of community development. We cultivate a global perspective by connecting Utah residents with the Malian culture and fostering a spirit of service and understanding. Ouelessebougou Alliance’s long-term commitment to the Ouelessebougou region reflects a belief in the power of partnership and sustainable development to transform lives and build a brighter future for generations to come.
