Our Daily Bread CACFP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit child nutrition advocacy organization dedicated to the nutritional care and well-being of children in Tennessee and Kentucky. Since 1995, we’ve been contracted with the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS), Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), and funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to administer the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). We provide comprehensive training and technical assistance to daycare homes and childcare centers, ensuring they meet rigorous nutritional standards. Our mission is to inform the public about healthy food choices and educate adults and children on the importance of proper nutrition, contributing to a healthier future for the state’s youngest residents. With over 12,000 children receiving meals daily through our sponsored sites, Our Daily Bread CACFP is a vital resource for communities across the region.
