Partnering for Progress

Partnering for Progress is a US-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities in Kopanga, Kenya, through vital health, water, education, and economic development programs. Established in 2007 by a group of Spokane volunteers, P4P addresses systemic poverty by providing essential resources and opportunities, fostering self-sufficiency, and improving quality of life. Our work centers around a collaborative partnership with local Kenyan staff and community leaders, ensuring sustainable and impactful solutions. With a dedicated team and a strong board of directors, P4P continues to expand its reach, providing a ‘hand-up’ rather than a ‘hand-out’ to families in need. We are registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in Migori County, Kenya, and committed to long-term, community-driven development.
