Overview

Partners in Compassionate Care is a US-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Christ-centered hope and healing to the vulnerable people of South Sudan. Founded in 2006 by the Bowman and Bixler families in response to the needs of South Sudan following civil war, PCC delivers holistic care encompassing physical, emotional, economic, and spiritual well-being. We address critical needs through healthcare, education, and discipleship programs, working to empower the next generation of Christian disciples. Despite facing significant challenges, including the closure of Memorial Christian Hospital and the Bor Clinic due to political instability and land disputes, PCC has persevered, relocating its clinical assets to Nile Orphan Care in Juba and continuing its mission with renewed commitment. Led by Stuart Bowman, son of the organization’s founder, David Bowman, PCC remains steadfast in its dedication to modeling Christ’s love and providing sustainable solutions for the most vulnerable in South Sudan. With a focus on community, partnership, and the principles of Christ-centered care, we strive to create a brighter future for the children and families of South Sudan.
