Overview
Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour is a Greensboro, North Carolina-based non-profit organization dedicated to fostering girls’ participation in golf. We provide a unique, yardage-based tournament format, promoting competitive experience at each player’s pace. Our mission is to create more effective playing opportunities for girls through the PKBGT Progression Pathway, working in partnership with LPGA-USGA Girls Golf to grow this initiative across the country. As the only LPGA Foundation Approved Tour, we aim to ensure no junior girl golfer has to play in a boys tournament. The tour has a rich history, with over 1,400 members progressing to collegiate golf and alumni competing at the highest levels, including current LPGA Tour players.
The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKBGT) is an initiative of the non-profit foundation Girls Golf of America, formerly the Triad Youth Golf Foundation. The Foundation will provide financial and logistical support to the Tour and work with community and regional leaders to promote girls golf.
We offer a comprehensive program for girls aged 9-18, divided into three paths: national, regional, and a new national championship track, featuring 9, 18, 36, and 54-hole tournaments. Our RecruitPKB initiative helps girls find the right fit for their collegiate experience, connecting them with college golf coaches and resources.
With over 1,200 members and regularly hosting events with 60-90 girls, the PKBGT continues to grow, providing a vital platform for aspiring young golfers.
