PHd is a multi discipline agency that works in many aspects of marketing communications. We work on single projects right through to integrated campaigns. Specific services include advertising, identity, literature, web design, packaging, signage, printing and P.R. At PHd we like to make things as transparent and as simple as possible for everyone involved internally and externally. When a project starts we create a written brief which is approved prior to any costs or design work, then a proposal is created based on the work involved, this details all aspects of the project and breaks down the costs into straightforward categories. Once we have a purchase order then the design work begins…with pens and paper and creative minds. We try to look at a project from the end customer’s point of view and design a solution which works for them. This is the best way to get a positive result to any task. We present sketches, scamps and design thoughts to the client and discuss them to get to a stage where a number of options are worth fleshing out to become proper visuals. These visuals are then re-presented and one is normally chosen as the end result. We then go on to create the high resolution digital artwork and finally the finished end product.
