Pierce Cartwright Company’s history is rooted in Alaska, beginning with Pierce Cartwright’s return from World War II and his subsequent graduation from the University of Washington. Initially a retail-only broker, the company expanded into foodservice and confections in the 1970s, capitalizing on Alaska’s growing population and the oil boom. Gary Cartwright, Pierce’s son, served as President from 1984 to 2021, guiding the company through significant growth. Today, the company operates two divisions – Retail and Foodservice – each led by dedicated teams and owners, Vicky Kelley and Pam Christy, ensuring continued leadership and expertise.

Our modern Anchorage office, located at 1205 E International Airport Rd, features a fully equipped test kitchen, dry sample warehouse, and freezer, providing a professional environment for training, product presentations, and distributor/broker meetings.
