Pig Pounder Brewery

Pig Pounder Brewery is a Greensboro, NC-based microbrewery specializing in unique and interesting beers, including Saison and Barley wine, for local venues. We’re more than just a brewery—we’re a community hub for craft, culture, and creativity, blending bold beer with local art and interactive experiences.

Our story began with Darryl’s Wood Fired Grill in the mid-80s, who launched their own brand of beer, the ‘Pig Pounder’, inspired by their branding.

At Pig Pounder Brewery, we believe great beer starts with intention. From the grain we choose to the glass we pour, quality is never optional. We commit to thoughtfully sourced ingredients, to brewing with care, consistency, and craft, and to never cutting corners—not on flavor, not on process, not on people.
