Pixop, established in 2017 by founders Morten Kolle and Jon Frydensbjerg, is a B2B service for the broadcasting industry. Our core mission is to empower production companies and broadcasters to maximize the value of their archives by modernizing their content to meet contemporary broadcast standards. Current methods of video enhancement and upscaling are prohibitively expensive, time-consuming, and require too much processing power. Pixop’s advantage is that it improves the perceptual quality of all video using artificial intelligence and machine learning while eliminating the complexity and cost traditionally associated with video upscaling. Pixop concentrates on file-based remastering and live enhancement of video content, ensuring that production companies and broadcasters can not only refurbish their existing archives but also apply real-time improvements to live broadcasts.
