Platzl Hotel Inselkammer KG

This traditional four-star Superior Hotel and its two popular restaurants - the Pfistermühle and Wirtshaus Ayingers and the outside bar Platzl Karree- are located in the heart of Munich's old city, right beside the famous Hofbräuhaus and just a short walk from the Marienplatz, the Bavarian State Opera, Maximilianstrasse and Viktualienmarkt. Traditional and historical style elements feature prominently in the interior design are combined with latest furnishings and design trends. This symbiotic concept is applied consistently throughout the Platzl Hotel including all 167 guestrooms and the 7 conference rooms and brings Munich’s colourful flair together with high international hotel standards. The Hotel has been owned by Peter Inselkammer since 1953. The Inselkammer family also own the “Ayinger Brauerei” and the “Brauereigasthof Aying”. These businesses have all been owned and run by the Inselkammer family for generations now. Since 2013 Heiko Buchta is the hotel director.
