Poda

The founder of Poda Fence, Poul Dalgaard, were a pioneer in the 1970’s when he introduced electric fence for professional farmers and livestock in Denmark, at a time where barbed wire and netting was supreme in the market. That’s how the success started. Today, Poda solve almost any fence job, but the focus remains on the fence solutions in the open country where Poda is the market leader. An electricfence of the type Poda originally launched, is known in Denmark simply as a ”Poda fence” regardless of brand. The name Poda is a very strong brand, associated with quality, durability and therefore good fence economy. An important piece in Poda success is the franchise concept with a central organization: Poda A/S, and a network of local partners: The Poda Centers. Since the 1980’s Poda became nationwide in Denmark and in 2005 Poda Stängsel were introduced on the Swedish market. In 2007 Poda Zaun in Germany was founded and the first Poda Center in Germany began in 2008. In 2010 Poda Gjerder were introduced in Norway and in 2013 Poda Omheiningen were introduced in the Nederlands.
