Postal Agency - Republic of Macedonia

The Postal Agency was formed on 15 July 2008, in accordance with the Law on postal services (Official Gazette 9/2008) an independent regulatory authority in the area of postal services. With the enrolling in the Central Register and attaining the status of a legal entity with public authorisations, PA officially started functioning on 22 July 2008. The Agency started functioning on 10 November 2008 with an established expert office at Kej 13 Noemvri, GTC 2.floor, section 6, office 116. The PA is an independent regulatory authority in the postal service area, established as an independent and non-profit legal entity, which has public authorizations as by the Law on postal services. The Agency in its work and when making decisions in the framework of its authorisations is independent from any other national body or other public legal entity or trade company which performs activity in the area of postal services and shall be impartial towards them.
