PostgresOpen is a non-profit, community-run conference series in the United States dedicated to PostgreSQL, the world’s leading open source database. We bring together business users, database professionals, and developers to explore the latest advancements and practical applications of this powerful platform. PostgresOpen provides two days of tutorials and presentations, one day of extended trainings, and a vibrant social track, fostering a collaborative environment for PostgreSQL enthusiasts. Our eighth annual conference, held September 11th - 13th, 2019 in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Centre Hotel, continues our mission of promoting the business and development of PostgreSQL.

PostgresOpen specifically targets entrepreneurs, technologists, and decision-makers at the forefront of data management and open source database innovation. We champion PostgreSQL as a viable alternative to traditional proprietary databases, recognizing its versatility and community-driven development.

As an associated project of the United States PostgreSQL Association (PGUS), PostgresOpen supports the broader PostgreSQL ecosystem through events and funding.
