Potter Counseling & Consulting is a Durham, North Carolina-based mental health practice dedicated to providing evidence-based therapy for individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families.

We understand that life’s challenges can be complex and deeply personal, often intertwined with social, economic, cultural, emotional, spiritual, or physical issues. Our team of experienced clinicians draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy, to offer tailored support and guidance.

Since 2016, we have grown to be a collaboration of clinicians from a variety of educational backgrounds, personalities, and professional interests, providing compassionate care to the Durham and Chapel Hill communities.
