Prematria LLC and Prematria Foundation

Prematria LLC and Prematria Foundation is a US-based non-profit and for-profit organization dedicated to improving maternal and infant health, particularly focusing on preterm birth prevention. We provide access to essential prenatal nutritional care through our Prenatal Vitamin Chews, formulated with folic acid and omega-3 fish oil, and choline, supporting healthy gestation, birth weight, brain and eye development.

Our mission is to decrease the rate of preterm birth globally by raising awareness, providing preventative measures, and offering treatment options. Preterm birth affects approximately 11% of births worldwide, impacting millions of babies annually. We address this critical issue by focusing on the vital role of prenatal nutrition, recognizing that less than 5% of low-income urban women in the USA utilize prenatal supplements, and similar rates are observed in many developed and developing countries.

Prematria’s approach centers on providing accessible and affordable prenatal vitamins, coupled with educational resources and support. We operate through the Prematria Foundation, a 501(3)(c) charity, which offsets the cost of these vitamins for women in need. Through our combined efforts, we strive to create a healthier future for mothers and babies. Donations to the Prematria Foundation directly contribute to this vital work.
