Project in a box is a program started by Professor Truong, Chair of UCSD’s ECE department. The core idea - provide students with real-world application of theory with fun and engaging projects. Started in 2016, the program quickly grew into 3 hands on classes, and the original team of project developers grew from a small team of 10 to a consistent 40 every quarter.
Currently hosting 7 finished projects and 10 more upcoming, project in a box is posed to expand beyond UCSD as a medium for many forms of education from high-schools to training for company employees.
