PROMEC S.r.l. is an engineering and manufacturing company established in 1986 to fabricate high precision mechanical parts and subassemblies and to design and realize production lines and dies, special machines and equipment with high integration of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and automation. For 20 years PROMEC has been operating in the railway and aerospace market for Italian and international customers as ANSALDOBREDA, ALSTOM, BOMBARDIER TRANSPORTATION, FIREMA TRASPORTI, TRENITALIA, ZF Friedrichshafen AG (Germany), ALENIA / AERITALIA, EMA (Europea Microfusione Aerospaziali). Nowadays, PROMEC focal production concerns mechanical parts and subassemblies of the railway rolling stock (specially bogies), custom jigs and tools and special production & test machines and equipment. PROMEC’s plant covers an area of 8,000 square meters, 4,500 indoor, with workshop areas fully equipped to completely support railway bogies production and maintenance process: material cutting, welding, machining, shot-blasting, painting, dimensional inspection, non-destructive testing, spring coils testing and final inspection testing.
