Built in 1722, Proud Country House is a stunning 18th century Grade 1 listed Georgian Manor House set in the beautiful Stanmer Park, just a stone’s throw away from central Brighton. Part of Proud group, the house has been sensitively restored and modernised, combining classic heritage touches with facilitates for modern day hospitality. Source at Stanmer, a new Seasonal British restaurant using fresh meat, fish and produce from within a twenty mile radius, is open 7 days a week. Catering for intimate groups or up to 900 guests, the whole house and marquee can be exclusively hired for weddings and events.
