RAD Camp

RAD Camp is a nonprofit organization based in Irvine, California, dedicated to providing inclusive programs and support for adults and children with developmental disabilities, as well as respite for their caregivers.

RAD Camp’s mission, Rising Above Disabilities (RAD), centers around fostering independence, growth, and friendship through a variety of activities including camps, club programs, and virtual resources. We serve a diverse community of campers with a range of disabilities, including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome, alongside their caregivers who benefit from much-needed respite.

What distinguishes RAD Camp is our commitment to creating a truly inclusive and welcoming environment where every individual can shine. We rely on a dedicated team of 51 staff and a vibrant community of over 1,700 volunteers, primarily from high schools and colleges across the United States. RAD Camp, Inc is a 501c3 Tax exempt organization Tax ID 46-4555223. We are proud to have supported 176 families, with 90% reporting vital respite and 35% stating it was their only respite option.
