Rooted in yesteryear’s incredible hospitality yet kitted out with modern amenities, Reikart House channels the spirit of our namesakes, known as Amherst, New York’s first family of hospitality. Frank and his wife Dolly were known throughout town for their hospitality, entrepreneurship, and colorful personalities. Frank who was a musician, entertainer, inventor, barber, photographer and ice cream man, could often be seen with his Capuchin monkey Jacko.
