Rochester Family Mission

Rochester Family Mission is a Rochester, New York-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities through innovative programs, fostering equity, and embracing collaboration. Since 1927, originally known as Gospel Tabernacle Social Welfare & It’s Vicinity, Inc., we’ve been a steadfast foundation for the inner city of Rochester, providing vital support to those in need.

We address urgent needs for food, clothing referrals, heat and electric assistance referrals, and counseling services. Our Food Programs provide seasonal basket giveaways and supper programs, while our Clothing Closet offers emergency clothing to individuals and families facing economic hardships or crisis.

RFMission’s commitment to holistic well-being is reflected in our Health & Wellness programs, designed to promote personal growth and quality of life, and our Older Adults initiatives, fostering engagement and support for our senior community. We are a Faithful Ministry, with a Faithful Board of Directors, a Faithful Staff, Faithful Volunteers, and Faithful Supporters!
