Rovalma S.A., is a technological leader in the development and supply of advanced materials with unique thermo-mechanical properties for dies and tools of material forming processes, in particular die casting, plastic injection moulding, composite forming, stamping and cutting of AHSS and other difficult materials. Our mission is to provide innovation through die materials and added value through cost advantages, productivity gains and increased product quality. Our tool steels often allow to increase process productivity by 20-40% and enable reduced weights and improved quality of the produced components. Multiplying die durability is also our daily business. Besides the production of conventional tool steels manufactured at the highest quality level, ROVALMA is also renown for its unique innovative developments. Examples of its newest developments are: ROVALMA’s new generation of HTCS®-tool steel grades features high thermal conductivities of up to 60 W/m.K and working hardness levels of up to 56 HRc. These novel HTCS® tool steels are supplied at low hardness for easy machinability of tools and moulds, and thereafter only need an aging treatment around 600ºC to harden them to high hardness. They show excellent dimensional stability during hardening, temperature and fatigue resistance. Another exclusive top product of ROVALMA is its newly developed material with an exceptional fracture toughness and mechanical resistance compromise, which can not only be used for tooling but also for extremely demanded components.
