Sabal Palms Motel is a family-owned hospitality company located in Pass-a-Grille, Florida, offering a charming coastal escape. For over five decades, Sabal Palms Inn, originally built in 1926, has been a beloved landmark on the barrier beaches, lovingly restored and cared for by the Caruso family. Just two short blocks south, Havana Inn, built in 1912 as The Quebec, was also fully restored, reflecting a passion for preserving historic spaces. We also operate Wander Residences, a trio of thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom suites located just outside the entrance to Fort De Soto Beach. Nestled in Tierra Verde, where the Caruso family lives and grew up, our three properties—Sabal Palms Inn, Havana Inn, and Wander Residences—are dedicated to providing guests with a warm, welcoming experience and a taste of old-Florida charm.

Pass-a-Grille isn’t just a beach town—it’s a state of mind. Nestled at the southern tip of St. Pete Beach, it’s known for its old-Florida feel, stunning sunsets, and unhurried pace. It’s a place where time slows down and memories are made.

Today, all three properties—Sabal Palms Inn, Havana Inn, and Wander Residences—are owned and operated by the Caruso family: Joe, Sofia, and Joseph Jr. Together, we share a deep love for this coast, for the stories behind these walls, and for welcoming guests into our little slice of paradise.
