Sachai Tea Benefit Corp

Sachai Tea Company, based in Birmingham, Alabama, is a Benefit Corporation dedicated to bringing authentic Indian chai to the United States. We specialize in crafting small-batch, shelf-stable chai concentrates using all-natural ingredients – whole spices and organic Assam tea – directly sourced from Indian tea farmers. Founded in 2015 by Rebecca and Clint, who bring diverse tea-drinking traditions from India and the American Southeast, Sachai embodies a commitment to direct trade, sustainability, and social impact. As Alabama’s first Benefit Corporation, we operate with a triple bottom line, prioritizing profitability alongside environmental responsibility and positive community impact. We’re passionate about sharing the rich heritage of chai and fostering connections through the simple pleasure of a perfectly brewed cup. Our products are designed for both individual enjoyment and wholesale distribution, offering a convenient and authentic way to experience the flavors of India.
