In our time we’ve marched onto a load of construction sites. Everything from simple house extensions to iconic landmarks rising from the ground. If you glance around most construction sites, you’ll see how they plan to respond when a momentary lapse of concentration carves a six-inch ragged furrow in someone’s leg. Often, it’s nothing more than a few lengths of sun-bleached timber nailed together to make a temporary home for a first aid kit, some notices and all the other medical paraphernalia they think they’ll need when it hits the fan. One problem. The first aid kit has been raided, the extinguishers’ been nicked, and several of the notices have been torn down and converted into makeshift notepads. So, when the lapse in concentration and the six-inch wound actually happens, and it’s serious, there’s another problem. Suddenly people are crawling all over the site and asking questions. How do we know this? Because we’ve run those sites. We’re a small experienced team, but we’ve overseen construction projects from high-end residential developments and world-class shopping centres, to offices and care homes, anywhere from Mayfair to the Middle East. So we know. We also know the answer. A compliant, portable, easy-to-use safety station that’s the same on every site. Something that moves from site to site, pops up in a minute, and comes with everything you need to put a bleeding builder back together and get him to the nearest hospital, pronto.
