Scotswood Garden Limited

Scotswood Garden Limited is a thriving community garden and charity based in Newcastle upon Tyne, dedicated to fostering environmental education, sustainable living, and community engagement. Established in 1995, we offer a diverse range of activities including Forest School training, school visits, inclusive volunteering opportunities for adults and youth, and dementia gardening groups. Our two-and-a-half-acre site, featuring organic gardens, ponds, and woodland, provides a unique space for learning and connection with nature.

We actively support local initiatives, including refugee support and environmental conservation projects, and are proud recipients of the Green Flag Award. With a dedicated team of 20 staff and volunteers, Scotswood Garden is committed to creating a vibrant and welcoming space for all.
