Safer Schools by Design is a Florida-based organization dedicated to enhancing the safety and security of K-12 schools and higher education institutions. Following devastating school tragedies, we’ve assembled a team of design, construction, and safety experts to develop and share facility solutions. Our focus is on implementing physical enhancements – aligning with Senate Bill 9026 and building codes – that create secure learning environments without compromising the well-being of students and educators. We provide valuable insights and resources to designers, building officials, policymakers, and school administrators, ultimately contributing to safer and more secure educational spaces across the nation. We specialize in creating safer school environments through thoughtful design and construction practices.
