Sgiliau Cyf

Sgiliau Cyf provides training and education to young people aged 13 - 24. We support a positive change in students lives and provide opportunities for young people, using flexible learning programmes and personal support, to meet each individual's needs. These opportunities include a wide range of qualifications and short courses including; art, design, fashion, textiles, music, sports, employability skills, literacy, numeracy and IT skills. The creative workshops include t-shirt printing, badge making, 3D printing, creating and recording music in the studio. The main hub is in Risca, with satellite centres in Abergavenny, Blaenavon, Brynmawr and Pontypridd as well as community-based projects. The team works intensively with many young people who have multiple barriers to their development including; anxiety, mental health, special educational needs and behavioural issues, in small group sizes with some students receiving one-to-one support.
