A big-shot animation studio, or a boutique motion design practice based in a 150 year-old boathouse on the Thames? We can be either, and everything in between. Silver Machine was set up by designer/director Neil Grunshaw in 2016. Neil has been in the industry since the early 00s. In the field of digital moving image there isn’t much he hasn’t done. Neil has lots of talented friends who can be brought in to help make your project a reality - designers, 2D animators, cel animators, illustrations, 3D artists, sound designers, creative technologists - real good eggs. No two briefs are the same. We celebrate the opportunity to work in a myriad of styles including 2D character animation, shiny 3D, eye-popping out-of-home big-screen content, interactive/experiential content and Lottie animations for apps and websites. We work with brands, advertisers, tech companies, TV broadcasters, nonprofits, charities and museums. Our work has been used online, on the telly, in exhibitions, on projections, on phone screens and on gigantic LED screens.
