My name is Sophia Katsarou, I was born in Athens in 1983, I have been living & working since 2011 in Nea Ionia, Attica. I am married & have two daughters. I have studied "Business Administration" at the University of Piraeus & I hold a master's degree in "Finance and Banking" from the Athens University of Economics & Business. I hold titles in 3 foreign languages: English, German & Italian. I worked at the National Bank since 2004, initially as an employee of the Deposit & Investment Products team, later as a Premium Banking Executive (serving wealthy customers in mainly investment products) & finally as Head of Business Banking, in the Branches: Koukakiou, Kalogrezas, and Heraklion. After 17 years of work at the National Bank of Greece, and with the useful experiences I gathered, I made the big decision to create my own business. So in December 2020 I applied to join the Bank's voluntary exit program & left. Since 2009 I hold, & maintain through regular exams of knowledge adequacy, the required certifications from the Bank of Greece and the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and I offer insurance services and investment advice. So in 2021 I made a dream come true, I set up my own business, the insurance agency SK AGENCY, and I got a register at the Athens Chamber of Commerce. My vision for the future is to create a large portfolio of insurance & investment contracts & through it to optimally serve the needs for security, but also for a better future, of my customers. I believe that my professionalism, reliability & efficiency are the tools that will help me achieve this. As through my course in the banking industry but also with my involvement with the public issues of my city I have proved many times the interest for my fellow human beings & the solution of their problems, always being by their side, I consider that I have gained their trust so that together we will walk in a win-win relationship, as I believe all human relationships should be at every level.
