Giving more to local Communities The organisation was founded by Corinna, whose love for travelling and deep concern for people and the environment inspired the creation of this business. During her travels, Corinna noticed a significant imbalance: local guides often received as little as ten dollars a day, while travelers paid thousands for their trips. She launched SWST to address this inequality and ensure fair compensation and opportunities for local communities. Building a Better World With 20+ years of experience in building social projects, Corinna's passion for social entrepreneurship began early. She founded her first social enterprise at the age of 27, gaining valuable insights during that time. Two years later, with the birth of her son Henry, she was reminded of life’s true priorities. Together with Henry, Corinna travelled the world, where they discovered love among strangers, an experience that brought her vision of social impact travel to life.
