SMART* Systems ™- Our Story! (*Shelf Management And Retrieval Technology)  Our company was ESTABLISHED in 1996 to fulfill the need for more efficient shelf organization and presentation. SMART Systems holds numerous patents for a wide variety of shelf management systems.  We manufacture proprietary retail racking systems to improve retailer profits and provide an enhanced consumer shopping experience.  Since inception, our customer base has grown from two regional grocery chains to national chains with a presence in over 2700 retail stores.  Our line of fixturing systems began with the SMART SYSTEM® Original in the meat category.  The SMART technology was quickly adapted to the yogurt category where we met the challenges of high turn and limited shelf life, making for easier conditioning of shelves, and prevention of product ‘snaking’.  The newest product introduced is the SMART ADJUSTABLE™.
