We began as a passion project, offering delicious pupusas – thick, handmade tortillas filled with savory ingredients like pork, cheese, and beans – alongside curtido (pickled cabbage and carrots) and tomato salsa.
What sets us apart is our commitment to supporting local culinary entrepreneurs and youth, creating a platform for them to build their own food businesses through our food truck program and community chef partnerships. We’re relaunching as So Good Cocina, working with community chefs and youth entrepreneurs, and are actively fundraising to bring our food truck back to life.
Currently, we are focused on catering and community events, offering both the So Good Pupusas menu and the JahDove’s Catering menu. We also provide Salvadoran Horchata and Jamaica drinks. We are proud to be a part of the #CulinaryFemmeCollective and the #Pupusas4ThePeople movement, striving to create a more equitable and delicious food system.
We are raising funds to support our relaunch through our IFundWomen campaign – please donate and help us #FundTheTruck! We are committed to providing last-dollar scholarships to undocumented and DACAmented students through our Pupusas for Education (P4E) program.
