SOILGUARD

SOILGUARD is a European research consortium dedicated to advancing sustainable soil management practices and fostering a deeper understanding of soil biodiversity. Based in Brussels, Belgium, we develop the SOILGUARDIANS app, a predictive tool designed to support stakeholders in transitioning to healthier soil ecosystems. Through collaborative research and knowledge sharing, SOILGUARD addresses critical gaps in our understanding of soil’s role in climate change mitigation and human wellbeing, aligning with EU and international policy frameworks. We translate scientific findings into actionable recommendations, empowering land managers and policymakers to implement effective conservation strategies and safeguard the future of our soils.
