Soroptimist International of Huntsville, Alabama, USA is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to empowering women and girls through education and opportunity. Founded in 1969 as part of a global network of over 80,000 members across 130 countries, we champion human rights, equality, and peace within the Huntsville and North Alabama communities. Our work focuses on providing resources and support to graduating high school senior girls pursuing higher education or vocational training, particularly those overcoming obstacles.

We also actively support victims of human trafficking through the creation of ‘hope bags’ and partner with local organizations like the AUM Foundation to foster mentorship and invest in the dreams of young women. As a local chapter of Soroptimist International, we offer a supportive environment for women to connect, collaborate, and make a tangible difference in the lives of others, embodying the Soroptimist pledge of friendship, achievement, service, and integrity.
