SOS! Special Educational Needs is a registered charity. It provides information and advice on special educational needs. We help parents and carers to find their way through the legal and procedural maze, which can seem so daunting, so that they obtain satisfactory provision for a child’s special needs. Through our volunteer network, we offer a free, friendly, independent and confidential telephone helpline providing information and advice on Special Educational Needs (SEN). We run regular workshops and training courses to ensure parents and others can become empowered and feel confident to tackle for themselves the obstacles and difficulties which arise. Many of our volunteers are grateful parents who, in turn, use their knowledge and experience to help others. We are funded through our workshops, 1:1's with parents, document checks, legal letters and donations . We also use our funds from our two charity shops. One in Hampton Hill and one in Worcester Park. This is so we are completely independent of any government funding. More information can be found on our website - www.sossen.org.uk
