Southwest Ambucs

Southwest Ambucs is a dedicated non-profit service organization based in Amarillo, Texas, committed to fostering mobility and independence for individuals with disabilities. As the Amarillo area chapter of National AMBUCS™, Inc., we provide vital support to local organizations like the Down Syndrome-Buddy Walk, Children’s Rehab Center, and Special Olympics through donations and volunteer efforts. Our mission centers on creating a more inclusive community by providing AmTryke® therapeutic tricycles, awarding scholarships to therapists, and engaging in impactful community service projects. Southwest Ambucs has a rich history of growth and recognition, including a remarkable three-year streak of earning a Triple Blue Chip Award for membership growth, placing us among the elite few nationwide. We are a vibrant community of over 98 members dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
