Space One Eleven

Space One Eleven is a Birmingham, Alabama-based visual arts nonprofit dedicated to fostering artistic expression and community engagement. Established in 1986, we champion contemporary art and provide professional opportunities for artists, while also offering accessible arts education to youth and adults. Our work centers on exploring themes of identity, culture, and social commentary through diverse artistic mediums, including sculpture, performance, and installation. We are committed to creating a vibrant and inclusive arts ecosystem within the Birmingham community and beyond, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the borderlands and fostering dialogue through art.
