Spence-Chapin Services to Families and Children is a longstanding, licensed nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive adoption and support services to families and children across New York and internationally.

For over a century, Spence-Chapin has been a trusted resource, offering a full spectrum of services including home studies, post-adoption counseling, and specialized programs for birth parents, adoptive parents, and adopted children. We are committed to fostering permanency and ensuring the well-being of all members of the adoption triad.

Our approach centers on individualized care, utilizing modalities such as neurofeedback, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play therapy to address the unique needs of each family. We also operate the Bagels & Blox Play Cafe and Lifebook, providing enriching experiences and resources for children and families navigating the adoption journey. International Adoption, Domestic Adoption, and Post-Adoption Counseling are core to our mission.
