Speranza Theatre Company is a women’s theatre company based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Founded in 2008, Speranza Theatre Company is dedicated to creating thought-provoking collaborative theatre centered on women’s issues, providing an opportunity for artists, particularly females, to share their voices through challenging and entertaining theatre based in honesty and truth.

Our mission is to foster a vibrant artistic community through risk-taking projects and innovative work, rousing audiences and giving a voice to artists who pine for progressive, challenging and entertaining theatre.

Speranza Theatre Company offers a diverse range of programs, including youth and adult productions, theatre classes, and unique arts events, fostering creativity and connection within the community. We are proud to offer original historical plays, films, and special events for audiences of all ages, and we welcome you to become a part of our story.
