Spokane Humane Society

The Spokane Humane Society is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare in Spokane, Washington, and the surrounding region. Since 1897, we’ve provided refuge, care, and adoption services to tens of thousands of lost, neglected, and unwanted animals. As a comprehensive animal care provider, we operate a main campus with a community pet food pantry, a low-income veterinary spay/neuter clinic, and an Everyday Adoption Center at PetSmart. We also offer foster care programs, volunteer opportunities, and educational resources to promote responsible pet ownership. Our mission is to create a community where all animals are valued and treated with compassion, ensuring they find loving forever homes. We are committed to reducing animal suffering and promoting humane practices throughout Eastern Washington.
