St. Joseph Missions, Inc is a nonprofit organization providing emergency housing for single women in Allen County, Indiana.

We operate the St. Joseph Missions Women’s Shelter, offering a safe and supportive environment for women experiencing homelessness. Our vision is to provide emergency shelter for single women from the homeless community in an environment that respects their dignity as human persons, affords them the opportunity to live individually and collectively with others in a safe environment of self-government, and empowers them to network with local business contacts and social services for employment and self-sufficiency.

At St. Joseph Missions, we prioritize safety and community, offering Christian-based services without proselytizing. We are committed to being a positive force in the neighborhood and serving our guests and neighbors alike.

In 2025, we have helped 50 women, and we continue to rely on the generosity of our community to provide essential support and resources. We are deeply grateful for the support of our volunteers and donors, who enable us to fulfill our mission and empower women to rebuild their lives.
