St. Vincent de Paul Tacoma, Pierce County is a dedicated, faith-based non-profit organization providing vital support to individuals and families facing crisis and homelessness in Tacoma, Washington. Since 1926, we’ve been a steadfast presence in the Pierce County community, offering a comprehensive continuum of care encompassing financial assistance, material goods, and spiritual guidance. Our mission extends beyond simply addressing immediate needs; we are committed to fostering self-sufficiency and stability for our neighbors in need, regardless of their circumstances. We operate the Community Resource Center and Family Resource Center, offering walk-in services and support to Pierce County residents. Furthermore, our Street Outreach Program actively engages with unhoused individuals, providing resources and connecting them with essential services. In 2023, we directly provided over $680,000 in financial assistance to more than 19,000 people, demonstrating our significant impact on the community.
