STRAC Institute is a Rhode Island-based educational institution specializing in advanced electronics skills training and certification, serving veterans and non-veterans alike.

We partner with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Job Corps program, providing critical workforce development to approximately 60,000 young adults annually across 131 locations nationwide. Our mission is to address the growing demand for electronics technicians, particularly in light of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, which is driving significant investment in the sector.

STRAC Institute distinguishes itself as the *only* advanced electronics training program within the entire Job Corps network, offering a unique opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds to gain in-demand skills and secure fulfilling careers. We are committed to bridging the skills gap and empowering the next generation of electronics professionals.

Currently, we focus on providing an Advanced Electronics Engineering Technician (EET) course at Job Corps in Exeter, RI, with plans to expand our reach to multiple other JC sites through a subcontract with Adams and Associates.
