We understand that moving abroad to study can be a daunting prospect. We know this because we have been in your shoes (and in your freshly bought backpack). Our mission is to make sure that every member of the Student-Helpr community knows exactly what they are entitled to. We’re here to advise you on all matters relating to Dutch life. We’ll make sure you’re prepared before your arrival, but we also stay in touch with you throughout the duration of your stay. So if you’re having trouble with issues such as setting up a bank account, finding a job, registering with the local municipality, finding a home or applying for allowances, we are here to save you money and time - and also to remind you that you’re not in this alone. Our ambition is to make sure that all of our members are treated fairly and have access to the same opportunities as Dutch students, without paying the price for being international. We live by the rule that we are not a company but a community. In that community, we’re always learning. Our student ambassadors are spread throughout the Netherlands and they are constantly adapting to the latest developments in the student world. Our ambassadors interact with students daily to understand what improvements could be made to ensure that every Student-Helpr member gets the best university experience possible.
