Surge Energy America

Surge Energy is a production and exploration company focused on the acquisition and development of onshore oil and gas properties in the United States. Surge Energy is headquartered in Houston, Texas and currently holds approximately 83,000 net acres in the Permian Basin. In April 2015, Surge Energy commenced operations with the acquisition of an established, long-life waterflood asset in the Clearfork formation in Crosby County, Texas. In November 2015, Surge Energy completed a second acquisition of approximately 78,000 net acres in the highly prolific Northern Midland Basin in Howard and Borden Counties. Surge Energy’s premier acreage position offsets several recent acquisitions and includes over 1,200 drilling locations in the Wolfcamp and Spraberry formations.
