The Coffee Recycling Co. is the first waste management company in the North West to collect spent coffee grounds, which are recycled by our partners, bio-bean, into carbon-neutral, advanced biofuels. The Coffee Recycling Co. aims to reduce waste disposal costs for your business and remove heavy, wet coffee grounds from the general waste stream, which very often end up in landfill. In addition to landfill being damaging to the environment, in the UK a tax (currently around £85/tonne) is levied on landfill site operators, who pass this cost on to their customers via higher collection fees.
