The Lifescape Project

The Lifescape Project is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the creation, restoration, and protection of wild landscapes, fostering a sustainable future for life on Earth. We achieve this by catalyzing projects that integrate science, technology, law, economics, and culture – a unique approach to tackling the global biodiversity crisis. Established in 2017, our work spans ecological and natural capital enhancements, Eurasian lynx reintroduction feasibility studies, forest litigation collaborative efforts, and rewilding law initiatives. We combine the expertise of diverse professionals – ecologists, lawyers, economists, academics, and sustainability experts – to deliver lasting environmental, social, and economic benefits. Our legal project officer, Katherine Blatchford, is actively involved in establishing conservation covenants, a powerful tool for long-term land protection. We are committed to driving positive change through collaborative, innovative solutions, and actively engaging with communities to promote biodiversity and ecosystem resilience.
