The Rock Pool Project

The Rock Pool Project is a UK-based not-for-profit community interest company dedicated to inspiring and educating people of all ages about the incredible marine wildlife found along our coastlines. Established in 2018, we offer bespoke private rockpool safaris, educational group field trips, and public beach events, fostering a deeper connection with nature.

With over 100 volunteers and 9 hub locations across the UK, we’re committed to creating a sustainable network of marine conservationists. Through initiatives like the Big Rock Pool Challenge, we engage communities in citizen science, collecting valuable biodiversity data to support wildlife management and conservation efforts, partnering with organizations like the Marine Biological Association and the Scottish Power Foundation to maximize our impact.
