Thinc Thrace incubator

Thinc is a Greece-based Incubator blooming in the heart of Democritus University of Thrace’s Engineering School, in Xanthi. Thrace is the northern eastern region of Greece with rich history and culture. Thanks to its university and vibrant community of local entrepreneurs and professionals, there is a great start-up scene emerging in the last decade. Thinc operates as a hub that supports young entrepreneurs and start-ups providing the appropriate infrastructure and services to achieve their business purposes in the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. In complete agreement with our University’s objectives, Thinc will contribute to the utilisation of research products and innovative ideas that emerge by researchers inside or outside the institution and, most importantly, the know-how and expertise of industrial and business units in the area aiming at the founding of businesses specialising in the Research and Innovation Strategies for Smart Specialisation (RIS3).
